T A Fisher are delighted to announce the acquisition of a prime development site at Washoe Lodge in Brimpton. The site was granted planning permission by West Berkshire Council (WBC) in November 2020 to allow for the demolition of the existing buildings and replacement with four individual 4-bedroom detached houses.
Revised plans have since been submitted to secure consent for amendments to the approved plans. Assuming these are approved they will add significant design enhancements to both the internal layout and external appearance.
Each of the four houses boast character elevations are spaciously proportioned and have been designed with modern living in mind. Some will also incorporate a home office.
The recent planning submission was made following a full consultation exercise with both Brimpton Parish Council and local residents.
A decision by West Berkshire Council on this application is due in October 2022.
Steve Davies, Development Director at T A Fisher, said:
“Our redevelopment proposals for Washoe Lodge represent a really positive outcome for what had become an overgrown, vacant and derelict property.
This message came across overwhelmingly during our recent consultation exercise with the Parish Council and local residents, most of whom complimented us on our designs and our willingness to engage proactively.
The development will, we hope, leave a lasting legacy for the village and help to further our reputation as a considerate and empathetic developer throughout Berkshire and beyond.”
