Reporting to the Development Director the successful candidate will: Identify development opportunities through existing contacts and proactive research within the target areaDeliver development opportunities to feed into the residential construction programmeProgress applications through the planning process to successful receipt of planning permissionThe successful candidate will exploit his/her existing network of contacts, market knowledge and entrepreneurial drive to identify, appraise and purchase developments in the Thames Valley and beyond, whereby an in-depth understanding of the planning process will be key.You will appreciate and thrive within the smaller private-company structure with short decision-making processes. T A Fisher is very much a niche operator with an accent on adding value to projects through clever planning strategies, ‘working angles’ or through a more entrepreneurial approach. With a successful track record of commercial achievement and career progression in house-building or with a residential developer, you must demonstrate outstanding communication and relationship management skills, be an excellent negotiator and have the talent to influence others. Salary by negotiation, with a bonus based on performance/results.
